To improve safety and traffic flow, the intersection of Route 230 and Route 3 have been redesigned to include a new traffic signal and turning lanes...the current schedule indicates a late June completion. Maine 102: at State Route 198 temporary traffic lights, roadway reduced to one lane because of bridge maintenance work — until Friday, at about 5:00 PM EDT Comment: Bar Harbor - MaineDOT crews begin work on the Babsons Bridge in Bar Harbor this week. This project begins at the intersection of Route 102 and extends east on Route 198 for approximately 1,500 ft. Temporary traffic lights will be on scene to assist in alternating one-way traffic through the work zone during daytime hours. Both lanes of travel will be open during the evening and overnight. This work includes sealing the surface deck to maintain the service life of this bridge. It is anticipated the project will be completed by the middle of May. last updated April 1 |

Maine 9 in both directions: between State Route 178 and State Route 46; Holden Road road closed intermittently because of bridge maintenance work — until today at about 6:00 PM EDT Comment: Eddington -While work continues on the Mill Stream Bridge in Eddington, crews will be conducting a load test during the afternoon of Tuesday, May 21st. All traffic will be stopped for a period of up to five minutes during each individual test. Six tests will take place throughout the afternoon.
