Closure - Interstate 95
Interstate 95 northbound: from Exit 276 ME 159 to Exit 286 Smyrna Oakfield; River Road
road closed because of construction work -- follow the detour signs — until November 1
Comment: I-95 northbound from Island Falls to Oakfield will be closed. STARTING JUNE 17 TILL NOVEMBER 2 Motorists will be guided onto Route 2 for the approximately 6.5 mile detour route.Crews will be rebuilding this stretch of I-95 northbound to minimize frost heaves. The Route 2 detour is not expected to add significant time or miles for northbound motorists. In addition, road work will take place approximately 1.5 miles north of the Oakfield exit, which will require temporary lane closures.By utilizing a full closure of I-95 northbound from Island Falls to Oakfield, the project will take less time and be less expensive. PROJECT EXPECTED TO BE DONE JUNE 2014 WILL BE OPEN TO NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC NO LATER THAN NOV 2

Comment: Bridgewater the Tannery Road bridge reduced to one lane till further notice

roadway reduced to one lane, storm damage —
Comment: The road is reduced to one lane near the Paradis road due to the road being undermined by the cross pipe. The crew has placed the necessary signs up.
