Comment: Effective Tuesday November 17, 2009, because of bridge work on Route 196 there will be be a restriction for all wide loads on the Maine Turnpike as Follows: Such vehicles and loads southbound must depart at or Sabattus and may re-enter for southbound travel at Lewiston . This restriction will be in place until further notice.

Comment: At Exit 52 in Falmouth on the Falmouth Spur east and westbound permanent lane closures are in place at the Blackstrap and Maine Central Railroad Bridges for for bridge rehabilitation. The ongoing work is scheduled to be completed early in 2011. 35 mph work zone speed limits are in effect.
