There will also be a 12 foot maximum vehicle width through the construction zone for the bridge repair work at mile marker 133 on I-95. Northbound wide loads must exit at Exit 132 and Southbound wide loads at Exit 138. The closures and restrictions are scheduled to start on 12/8/2011 and normal traffic patterns are scheduled to be restored in October 2013. Please use caution throughout the construction zone.

Comment: Bar Harbor - MaineDOT crews begin work on the Babsons Bridge in Bar Harbor this week. This project begins at the intersection of Route 102 and extends east on Route 198 for approximately 1,500 ft. Temporary traffic lights will be on scene to assist in alternating one-way traffic through the work zone during daytime hours. Both lanes of travel will be open during the evening and overnight. This work includes sealing the surface deck to maintain the service life of this bridge. It is anticipated the project will be completed by the middle of May.
